We are thrilled to share this captivating moment that brought together esteemed industry leaders, groundbreaking researchers, and passionate students at the 3rd Smartship Training hosted by BlueSoft in the beautiful country of Poland. The event took place in hybrid nature, on the 4th of July, 2023, and reached almost 30 participants. Within the SmartShip project, we take immense pride in being at the forefront of forward-thinking. This event was no exception with a truly exceptional consortium of organizations, including the  CERC - Circular Economy Research Center Danaos Shipping Co. Ltd.,  Harokopio University of Athens Technische Universität Braunschweig BlueSoft ITML École des Ponts Business School, and  Epsilon Malta Ltd. This gathering of brilliant minds enabled a powerful exchange of knowledge and ideas, propelling the maritime industry toward a brighter, more innovative future.

The training brought together esteemed industry leaders for an inspiring and forward-thinking session. Among the many exciting presentations, one standout was  Antonios Makris showcasing TraClets, an impressive open-source Python library for trajectory representation and classification, which was developed by the prestigious  Harokopio University of Athens. Dimitrios Kaklis took the stage to share the groundbreaking progress of Smartship, a revolutionary ship management and trajectory optimization tool developed by none other than  Danaos Shipping Co. Ltd. Additionally,  Rafał Szustkiewicz from  BlueSoft captivated the audience with an insightful presentation on the benefits of employing the SCRUM methodology in project management. His expertise shed light on how this agile approach can drive greater efficiency and success in maritime projects.
