SMARTSHIP partners are thrilled to announce their recent partnership! We have joined dissemination forces with the project Healthy Ship 4 U (HS4U) a cross-national Research and Innovation Action (RIA), supported by the European Union (EU) within the framework of the Horizon Europe programme. The consortium includes 22 partners from 8 different countries. HS4U aim is to develop and demonstrate holistic ship design solutions that will facilitate the early detection, prevention, and mitigation of general health conditions, pandemic crises and communicable disease outbreaks in large passenger and cruise ships by ensuring healthy ship operations and safe return to port during a health emergency.
While establishing a synergy with HS4U, a meeting occurred (12/09/2023) between SMARTSHIP and HS4U to discuss possible areas of collaboration on common aspects and actions for dissemination and exploitation. Partner EPSILON is the common partner in both consortia. Thus, we took this initiative to mutually promote our projects and expand their visibilities within the Maritime sector. By the next weeks, we have set a joint dissemination plan (joint events presence, social media channels presence, etc.) which will be followed to leverage both projects’ impact.
