The SmartShip project held its 4th Training Session, thanks to the impeccable hosting by the HS4U EU project and its General Assembly.
The SmartShip coordinator from Danaos Shipping Co. Ltd delivered an insightful presentation on the SmartShip architecture, use cases, and the tools that power our project. ITML, the leader of SmartShip Work Package 4 (WP4), dazzled the audience with a presentation on the SmartShip Data Analytics Module; focusing on the design and development of the Advanced Data Analytics module, and how tiers are being working within the architecture.
Moreover, CERC - Circular Economy Research Center, the leader of SmartShip Work Packages 3 and 7 (WP3 and WP7), presented some slides about CircularEconomy, shedding light on its significance and how SmartShip took advantage of it.
Not forget to mention, that one of the objectives of the SmartShip project, is to investigate potentials of exploiting (i) existing infrastructure in ships (e.g. sensing devices and networks) and (ii) the technologies investigated and developed, in order to enhance the implementation of Circular Economy in the maritime field, in terms of management of engines’ components.
We would like to thank our HS4U EU project, for its outstanding organization, and we are looking forward for next joint events.
