The coordinator of SMARTSHIP project, DANAOS, participated at the Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition 2022, which took place in Athens from Monday, 6th of June to Friday, 10th June 2022. Posidonia brings the whole shipping world to its exhibitors. The international shipping community attends in strength with national pavilions and thousands of visitors. This year’s exhibition was the biggest in its history in terms of floor space, as it has succeeded to cover the entire exhibition space!
During the POSIDONIA event week, DANAOS was an exhibitor with its own stand, and it was a great opportunity to promote insights for its projects by also sharing some dissemination material-flyers, to all the visitors! SMARTSHIP project was highlighted because of its scope of research and many visitors shared their interest by giving positive feedback.
Certainly, this was a good chance to introduce the SMARTSHIP project to the biggest shipping event; and to share the aim of SMARTSHIP, the development of a holistic integrated ICT-based framework for the sustainable, individualized and completely automated energy management of ships”.
