Mr Fotios Oikonomou and Mr Stamatios Arkoulis from DANAOS, completed successfully their secondments at ENPC (ECOLE NATIONALE DES PONTS ET CHAUSSEES) by the end of September, 2022.
Their secondments were linked with combined work packages as WP2: “Requirements elicitation, use case scenarios and roadmaps for integrated vessel management, WP3: “Smartship Circular-Economy based functional architecture design” and WP6: “Integrated Smartship framework, validation and piloting.
Both colleagues have combined 2 separate secondments, running for roughly 9 months (PM) duration. Thus, Mr Fotios Oikonomou has worked on tasks T3.1: Design and specification of the SmartShip architecture, T3.3: Circular Economy principles in Smartship architecture, T6.1: Integration & Implementation and T6.3: Pilot preliminary design and pre-pilot testing. The secondee focuses on main action points; some of them were the description of testing scenarios for the pilots and the definition of the basic blocks/components of SmartShip architecture.
Moreover, the secondments of Mr. Stamatios Arkoulis, were linked with tasks T2.3: Roadmaps for marine vessel management optimization, T6.1: Integration & Implementation and T6.3: Pilot preliminary design and pre-pilot testing. Within the aforementioned 9-month duration secondment, the secondee focuses on main objectives such as sharing knowledge and methodologies to align the scenarios designed in T2.2 and designing of the pilot deployment (WP6).
