Ms Marilena Giannakopoulou and Mr Kostas Doumpas have successfully completed their secondments at the CERC partner (ENPC, Ecole des Ponts Business School) by the middle of January, 2023. Their secondments were linked with the development of the Smartship Baseline framework IoT (Work Package 4), the Smartship Decision Support and multi-layer optimization module (Work Package 5), and the development of an Integrated Smartship framework through validation and piloting (Work Package 6).
Furthermore, Ms Panagiota Papadopoulou, completed also her secondment in December 2022, which was linked with research, identification and reporting of market-ready tools and technologies already applied in the maritime industry, related to decision support systems and IoT-based advanced data analytics (Work Packages 4 & 5).
The secondees focuses on the implementation of main objectives such as, foster knowledge exchange between academic and non-academic experts in the fields of Decision support and optimization (related with the aforementioned tools), integrate and implement the SmartShip framework with ICT-oriented towards one multi-layer optimization tool.
